Today is an exciting day, at least for a friend of mine in Australia. Alex Moss reached out to me a little while ago and shared pictures of the first ever unboxing of Haggis Pinball's new Fathom Revisited Mermaid Edition pinball machine. The game looks amazing. Here's a few pics from the unboxing of the game. Alex took video as well that he hopes to be able to share with everyone this weekend.
I love seeing new Fathoms being made. There's always been something about any pinball machine with an underwater / ocean theme that I've absolutely loved. I even have a print of the Fathom backglass autographed by Greg Freres hanging in my basement arcade. I can't wait to see Fathoms here in the United States. New York City's Jackbar has one on order. I'm headed there as soon as theirs arrives.
Every new video I see makes me more and more anxious for and thankful that I took the risk to preorder this game, I can't wait for my game to come in 😍. I have Mermaid edition game #70 of the very limited 250 coming to Western Massachusetts 🧜♀️ 🧜♂️
Thank you Haggis for remaking this Bally legend and for sharing your video. We shall....DIVE AGAIN!!❤😍🤩
Wow! What a beautiful machine.
Gorgeous! Thank you for your website, news, social posts and photos. I am now wondering what new Fathom pinball smell is like... like new car smell?! LOL! I also find it crazy ironic that the only other machine in the photos that is turned on is Magic Girl. Yes, the history is long and sordid and I feel very bad for folks who were burned. But, she is still also beautiful (kudos to Zombie Yeti and all the other folks who didn't get paid) - box of lights or not. Those Dutch guys did a great job on theirs and who knows, it could be a real game one day. Fathom's back after 30 years so anything is possible. Cheers…
I must say, that if you think how much a pinball machine costs now a day, no one should design the inner box any less than Haggis do.
