Two Weeks Until A New Pinball Machine Battle Royale

Happy Friday everyone! I wasn't sure whether we were supposed to talk about this, but since everyone else who was invited has already mentioned specific dates, they're out there so I guess I will. The pinball industry is shaping up for a massive new game Battle Royale this Spring.
The action officially starts in two weeks. Barrels of Fun is scheduled to show off its second game to the media on Tuesday April 15th. In the invite, Barrels added the following little teaser:
"It is an epic playing game and yes, the ball will get eaten!"
Two days later, on Thursday April 17th, Stern pinball is scheduled to show off its next game to the media. Based on rumor and a trademark search that I did a few weeks ago, that game is likely going to be King Kong - The Myth of Terror Island by Keith Elwin.
Whoa, two big games released the same week. If that wasn't enough, they will be closely followed by Jersey Jack Pinball's latest game, which was already officially revealed to be based on Harry Potter.
We're shaping up for a real banger of a Spring in the pinball world. Unfortunately, I will not be attending either of the media events. I already committed to go to the awesome Pintastic New England show next week and I am likely going to Allentown Pinfest a week or so after. That's a lot of pinball travel in the middle of my son's high school lacrosse season already. Add to that the fact that I'd have to take off from my real job to go to those events and I just couldn't make it happen.
Never fear though, I'm on the distribution list for all of the press packages and am looking forward to writing about all of the awesome new games for everyone here.

Hate to talk politics, but very nterested to see how the tariffs impact upcoming tables. Nintendo just announced the Switch 2 and pre-orders for it a few days ago, and today they stopped pre-orders for the U.S due to the tariffs. If Nintendo is holding off on their new system to the U.S., I can't imagine how new pinballs are going to be able to go forward until something changes.
Excited to see the official reveals! I'm a king kong fan so I'm hoping it will be the machine to rival godzilla haha!
I was hoping everything would be a week sooner so we had a shot at seeing something at Pintastic.
Hope to see you in Marlborough and PinFest if you're there on Friday.
