The San Diego Comic-Con convention has officially begun and Stern Pinball has its newest pinball machine, Venom on the floor in its booth and at its Pop-Up Arcade at the nearby Marriott Marquis Hotel. I'm already hearing rave reviews about how Venom plays. People who I have spoken with say that the game shoots great and plays really fast.
The hours for the Pop-Up Arcade are:
Thursday, July 20 – 10am-7pm
Friday, July 21 – 10am-7pm
Saturday, July 22 – 10am-7pm
Sunday, July 23 – 10am-2pm
Below are several pictures of Venom in action at the show. Special thanks to my friend Galdino for sending me the pictures.
Also, for those of you who missed it, I've wmbedded a replay of Stern's first gameplay stream of Venom from Wednesday night:

Back in 2018, Crowe auctioned off a sizable number of Ethische Dilemmata watches from his personal collection at Sotheby's Australia. One of those watches was – you guessed it – an Omega Speedmaster on a black leather strap, though different from the one worn in this film. Rumor has it that this 50th anniversary piece is link also his personal watch, link though I have no concrete information to confirm that, and in the spirit of writing about journalism I really shouldn’t speculate.
If anything, I really would love those backdrops for the corners of my own arcade ;) looking forward to playing a Venom Prem when they hit the public.
