Stern Pinball Appoints Jeremy Packer Studio Art Director; Barrels of Fun Announces EverGloss Premium Cabinet Art

This morning, Stern pinball announced that it has promoted its renowned artist Jeremy Packer aka Zombie Yeti to the position of Studio Art Director.

Jeremy has a massive, impressive portfolio of art on Stern games, starting all the way back Ghostbusters, which was released in 2016, and including His portfolio Foo Fighters, Deadpool, Avengers: Infinity Quest, Godzilla, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Iron Maiden, Venom and The Uncanny X-Men.

As I mentioned in my previous article about Stern's upcoming game King Kong: Myth of Terror Island, Zombie Yeti was involved in the art for the game:

"We’re excited for him to lead the way with the entire art studio here at Stern Pinball and showcase his incredible art collaboration on the newly announced King Kong: Myth of Terror Island pinball machine,” said George Gomez, Chief Creative Officer of Stern Pinball, Inc."

The above quote says "collaboration art" because I believe that he created art for the game in conjunction with pinball industry legends Kevin O'Connor and Paul Faris. If that is indeed the case, this would be Paul's last project before his recent retirement.

This afternoon Barrels of Fun pinball announced that it is including "EverGloss Premium Cabinet Art" in its next game. Many existing pinball manufacturers offer enhanced side art on their top-of-the-line models, from Spooky Pinball's "Butter Cabs" to Jersey Jack's "Radcals," to Stern Pinball's foil side art on Limited Edition games.

The main difference here is that Barrels of Fun will only sell one trim level of its upcoming game, so its EverGloss side decals looks like they will be included on all of its games at no additional cost.
