Pinball rumors are funny. Sometimes a rumored theme of a game can be out there for a company literally for years before it actually happens, such as the Jersey Jack - Avatar rumor was.
One of the longest-running rumors for Spooky Pinball is that it is making a pinball machine based on the 1980s horror comedy movie Evil Dead. That rumor has been out there for Spooky literally for years.
I know that I predicted earlier this year that Spooky Pinball’s next game will be The Goonies. I still think that Goonies is coming, just not next. Based on conversations with people who went to the recent Chicago Pinball Expo (remember all sorts of good rumors come out of there) I now believe that Evil Dead is next from Spooky.
Specifically, I’ve heard that Spooky will release an amazing pin based on the 1981 film Evil Dead and 1987 sequel Evil Dead II in mid-December. I’ve also heard that the game is absolutely “packed with toys.”

ED2 and AOD go together like peas and carrots. ED2 is a remake of one. The comedy /horror theme matches better with 2 and AOD. I would have to break the bank for an Evil Dead pinball machine. The only theme I can't say no to.

The factory was great to go check out! I’m excited for their next release. I was jumping back and forth between TCM and Looney Tunes last night. Games are just fun and loaded! Especially for the price!
