This afternoon, Zen Studios revealed the third game of the three pack of Williams tables that it is going to launch for its Pinball FX digital pinball platform on December 12th. In addition to the previously announced digital remakes of Williams' 1989 game Earthshaker and its 1988 game Banzai Run, the third title in the pack is 1989's Black Knight 2000.
I buy every officially licensed table that Zen comes out with, so I'm sure that I'll be playing these three on my Steam Deck come the 12th.
This morning Pinball Brothers announced that it has published an update for its Queen pinball machine. This new code includes the "Champion" final Wizard Mode, Encore multiball, new callouts and a bunch of other cool stuff.
Last week, the French manufacturer HEXA Pinball - designer of the pinball machine Space Hunt, announced that it has formed a partnership with a French video game publisher named Ankama. The arrangement sounds as though Ankama infused capital into HEXA.
I personally don't know much about Ankama, but apparently they are a pretty big deal in France. The Company's Facebook page has a whopping 242,000 followers. Its big games are called DOFUS and Wakfu. I am not familiar with either of those games, but apparently they are very popular in France.
My one year of French as a senior in high school after conversational Spanish got really freaking hard isn't helping me to translate HEXA's Facebook statements. I think that I got the gist of what is going on here. If so, it sounds like a really positive development for HEXA.
Last but not least, the fine folks at the Loserkid Pinball Podcast published a great interview with Spooky Pinball's Corwin "Bug" Emery.
They go into a bunch of detail on Spooky's new game Evil Dead - which is on the production line there right now (see below)! According to Bug, Spooky has been producing 16 to 20 games per week and they would like to be around the 16 per week level throughout the production of Evil Dead with games starting to ship in early January.
Bug stated that Evil Dead sales have been strong and that he believes that the will sell out of the 888 unit run in 2024.
Other interesting facts include:
90% of Spooky's sales were Collector's Editions, so they really didn't think that it made sense to go through all the hassle to design two versions of Evil Dead.
80% to 85% of Evil Dead sales include the Topper
This is exciting news for pinball fans! The Black Knight 2000 making its way to Pinball FX is a huge deal, and I love the spooky, nostalgic vibes it's bringing. Pinball has such a unique way of blending old-school charm with modern technology. By the way, while diving into SEO training programs, I’ve come to appreciate the value of integrating new tech with timeless classics. Much like how pinball has evolved, SEO continues to shift and grow. This article perfectly captures how both gaming and digital marketing adapt to the times. Can't wait to see how this plays out!
I'm here for the Black Knight 2000 soundtrack please and thank you
Funny translation, in French it says "to design pinball games" not "to design pinball flops"!
