Congratulations to the awesome folks at Spooky Pinball, who minutes ago shared on social media that they have sold their 800th Evil Dead pinball machine!
In my first sales update on the game, I reported back on November 23rd that Spooky had sold 500 units, so sales keep humming along.
Production for Evil Dead is limited to 888 units and in its post, Spooky reiterated that they will never do another run of the game.
Once again, I’m going to bang my gong or ring my bell for and call for more production number transparency in the industry. As someone who is super into pinball history, I absolutely love this stuff. So kudos to you Spooky Pinball. Keep up the great work. I’m looking forward to the huge themes that you have coming down the road.
“…Just a reminder that if (when😉) it sells out it is GONE. There will be no more made!
For those of you who have jumped in and supported us by buying NIB, well we think you're pretty groovy for that 😎
Thank you!!!”

You’re still here? Well, if you’ve made it this far, I have an Easter Egg for you.
While writing this article, unused Google AI to look for Spooky Pinball Evil Dead production numbers to see if there was any other information out there. A lot of the results just link back to Knapp Arcade articles. We’re somebody 😂. Circular reference complete!

Chris Franchi hit an absolute home run with this one. Incredible artwork.
