As promised, this morning the mystery manufacturer of the upcoming pinball machine based on The iconic 1987 film The Princess Bride revealed itself. The rumors were true. The Princess Bride will be an upcoming module for the Multimorphic P3.
The playfield for the game contains a lot of cool features, including Humperdinck's Castle, Miracle Max's Hut and the Cliffs of Insanity - where the pinball physically climbs up the cliffs.
The game's art was created by Matt Andrews, with rules by Colin MacAlpine and the former American Pinball programmer Josh Kugler on software.
Multimorphic will begin taking pre-orders for the Princess Bride module on February 20th at 9:00 AM Central Time with production scheduled to begin this summer. The gameplay reveal for the game will take place on Saturday, February 24th at 8:00 PM Eastern time on the Buffalo Pinball Twitch channel.
If you already have a P3 machine, the module for the game will cost $3,750 for the Standard Edition and $5,000 for the Limited Edition (Limited to 750 units). The Collector's Edition of the game is not available as a module only. For a full P3 machine and the module, the cost is $11,500 for the Standard Edition, $12,750 for the Limited Edition and $13,750 for the Collector's Edition.
The Collector's Edition of the game, which is limited to 500 units, includes replica Inigo swords mounted to the cabinet, bronze powder-coated hardware, a custom backbox LCD-framing glass, a numbered plaque, signed certificate of authenticity and more.

The topper is a brilliant concept for a fantasy book-themed pin. Nicely done on that!
And left-handed swordsman is very clever too.
Left handed swordsman looks like a clever integration of theme and the P3 hardware. I have that “can’t wait to try that” feeling.
Looks cool, some similarities to BOF's Labyrinth, but man those prices!
Excited to play and try this out at TPF in a month!
