Minutes ago, Jersey Jack Pinball released another teaser picture of its upcoming Avatar pinball machine. We've already seen some of the "sea" portions of the game. This specific picture appears to show the "sky" portion. Specifically it shows off the "Hallelujah Mountains" that float in the air above the planet featured in the Avatar movies, Pandora.
I might as well use this as an opportunity to share a little more information that I've heard about the game through the grapevine...
As we already knew, Mark Seiden is Avatar's designer. He has been working on the game for three years.
I'll call the following are all rumors, but I'm 99% sure that the info is correct. The programmer is Keith Johnson. The Avatar pin has six flippers with both an upper and multiple lower playfields that represent the sky and the sea. It will have regular and blacklight modes.
The Collector's Edition of the game has an "amazing" interactive topper. It supposedly has the highest Bill of Materials (BOM) of any Jersey Jack game since the original Wizard of Oz yet prices will remain unchanged from Elton John.
It sure sounds like it's going to be an amazing game. I actually will probably be in Chicago next week to check the game out. I'll report back with tons of pictures, video and information for everyone, so stay tuned!
"An elevated experience awaits.
Stay tuned for the full reveal of Avatar: The Battle For Pandora on September 12th, 2024."
