Early this morning, the newly announced remake manufacturer for Williams Bally pinball machines, Pedretti Gaming, changed its Facebook cover photo to the picture below. The image is of a 1992 Williams Fish Tales 🎣 pinball machine. Is this a hint that Fish Tales is the company's first remake under its new agreement with Planetary Pinball?
We should find out soon enough with the game scheduled to begin production during Q1 2024.
With LCD displays common on these remakes, would be nice to see 86Pixels’ backboard panels implemented in a production machine.
Twilight zone would be interesting, but I think TOTAN would really be the one to knock it out of the park.
more remakes...ugh...it sucks we live in a time where people are afraid to be creative and come up with a new, original fun theme filled with heart, like they did over and over again the 90s. Oh well....
I know Fish Tales is popular and has its followers, but I think Pedretti would want to come out with a bigger coveted title for their first full remake. Pedretti already sells toppers for Scared Stiff, Theatre of Magic, Funhouse and Twilight Zone. I think it might be one of those.
That FT is an original. I think its more likely the TZ in the background.
