I have just received a picture of Jersey Jack’s next pinball machine from an anonymous source. All I have is one picture of a small part of the playfield, but we can learn a lot from it and you’ll only find it here :).
First off, after months of speculation about what’s next from JJP, we now know the theme. And those who have read my website over the years know, I’m a huge fan it. I have literally been writing for years that I’d love to see another Avatar pinball machine, especially one that incorporates the ocean scenes from the second film in the series. Way of the Water. I love me some Ocean-themed games.
The world that James Cameron has created for the Avatar films is absolutely gorgeous. The first thing that I thought of when I saw this picture was how the blacklight effect makes me think of an Avatar ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that I went on with my two young sons and wife many years ago. The ride is called the Na’vi River Journey. This really captures that vibe.
I personally am super excited to see what Jersey Jack can do with a beautiful theme like this and its new and improved flippers. I’m also excited to see the first design from their new designer Mark Seiden.
